CMSD Features "Paint the Principal" at E.B. Scripps Back to School
August 20, 2003—The families at E.B. Scripps Elementary School think education is great and are celebrating the new school year with a Back to School Picnic providing a host of hands-on art activities sponsored by the Children’s Museum San Diego.
Most exciting, however, is that the creative festivities of the day feature one of San Diego’s most unique art events ever, Paint the Principal.
Yes, Principal Rich Cansdale will sport a white jumpsuit with goggles, transforming into a human canvas for students to paint.

What
The Children’s Museum/Museo de los Niños San Diego will host the Museum Without Walls at the E.B.Scripps back to school picnic by providing free hands-on art activities and entertainment for all ages.
Additional activities include chalk art, facepainting, drawing, hatmaking and noodle necklaces.
